Skull Rock Gose
Brewed using indigenous South Gippsland ingredients, including coastal flora Karkalla and Native River Mint.
The aptly named Skull Rock, located five kilometres off the shore of Wilsons Promontory, is an imposing figure with an eerie-façade sculpted over thousands of years by the Azure blue waters of the Bass Straight. The island is shrouded in mystery, shipwrecks and misadventure with a popular belief amongst locals that more people have landed on the moon than ever stepped foot in the isle’s inaccessible cavernous face.
The Sailors Grave beer has been released to coincide with the re - launch of a new eco-tourism experience from Tidal River by international award winning operator Pennicott Wilderness Journeys. Visitors will travel in Pennicott’s world first custom built amphibious boats to discover the region’s beautiful rugged granite coastline and unique marine wilderness before discovering the striking Skull Rock.
Along with giving a taste of South Gippsland, the beer will feature a cylindrical Augmented Reality experience produced by local independent creative technologist Rayn Creative to tell the story of Skull Rock.
